Creative and restorative stay with high school aged child
Saturday August 9th
Arrive- 5.00pm (BYO drinks)
- Nibbles (shared grazing platter).
- Dinner (homemade pizza) and dessert.
- Your own cabin (shared with your child). Shared ablutions.
Sunday August 10th
- Breakfast (egg and bacon wrap, smoothie and coffee).
- My Crafternoon ‘morning’ activity. (See below)
- Lunch (roast meat and gravy rolls).

Nature Mandala Crafternoon
Artist and crafter, Stacey from My Crafternoons, will host a beginner-friendly art-making class developed specially for the Outside Inn and our restorative weekend retreat. Drawing inspiration from our bush surrounds, the curve of Wannon Falls, mindful colouring and her love of fineliner illustration, Stacey will help us to create unique artworks in a relaxed Sunday morning craft session.
· Connect with nature and tap into your creativity
· Learn art-making techniques including paper cutting, collage and fineliner illustration
· Use a range of craft materials and found objects, including foraged leaves, feathers, paper and card, stamps, ink and paint pens
· Create a mandala-style artwork in a circular design with illustrated leaf shapes radiating from the centre, choose a repeat pattern, or follow your intuition and make something from your imagination
· Create individual artworks, or collaborate on a design with your family
· Choose neutral tones or a colourful palette, whatever your heart desires!

Can it be mother and son?
- Yes of course. If they like the idea, then they’ll love it.
What if I want to come but don’t have a high school aged child?
- That’s fine. You can either borrow one or come anyway!
Can I tell my friends?
- Loaded question that! Yes please. Come as a group or just as a couple. There’ll be plenty of time for mingling.
